DEFENSE
The Timberwolves’ defense brings back a lot of experience and they will use that to their advantage as they work to shut down opponents. Isaac Morgan (6-0, 250, Sr.) and Finn Smith (6-2, 230, Sr.) will anchor things on the defensive line. Morgan tallied 22 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, and a fumble recovery, while Smith had 55 tackles, three sacks, and a fumble recovery last season. Linebackers Logan Richard (6-1, 230, Jr.) and Carver Rogers (6-1, 200, Sr.) have put in a lot of time in the offseason and will be called on to be key parts of the defense. The Timberwolves’ secondary is loaded and brings back a ton of experience that will be vital to the team’s success. Elias Battle (5-10, 180, Sr.), Owen Flowers (5-9, 165, Sr.), Camden Pratcher (6-1, 165, Sr.), Curtis Miller (5-11, 160, Sr.), Eshelman, and James combined for 230 tackles, 17 pass breakups, and six interceptions.
